Iโ€™d like to have a cup of tea with this gentleman to talk about his motivation. I always feel that a large part of it must be the meditative aspects.

I'm chuckling to myself imagining showing/explaining these drawings to the inventors of photography. "Yes, yes, I know it looks just like a photograph but isn't it amazing that someone spent 11 days drawing it?" I'd say to to their baffled gazes.

Looks like he's decided to stop, as per a note on one of his posts:

"I ended my pencil drawing life for now.

As a result of continuing to draw while taking advantage of my nervousness, my nervousness was further encouraged and my obsessive-compulsive disorder (confirmation compulsion) worsened.

From now on, I will spend the rest of my life with less stress on my nerves. Thank you for your continued support (SNS will continue)."
